California Redwood Company purchases almost all of its logs from Green Diamond, a company that has has made the following commitment to sustainable forestry:

• To use and promote sustainable forestry
  practices that are economically, environmentally
  and socially responsible.
• To protect forests from wildfire, pests,
  diseases and other damage and to
  maintain and improve long-term forest
  health and productivity.
• To manage lands of special significance,
  whether biological, geological, cultural
  or historical, in a manner that takes
  into account their unique qualities.
• To comply with federal, state and
  local forestry and environmental laws
  and regulations.
